2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 Is A Beast. Get The Details!

Corvette ZR1 2019, 755bhp annd 715lb/ft

Chevy has revealed the next generation ZR1 and if you have eyes in your head then you want one right now.

The car won’t arrive until 2019 and you can’t even order one until Spring 2018, but it looks like it will be worth the wait. It’s the fastest, most powerful Corvette ever and it’s a car that can take the fight to the best Italian supercars on track.

A Serious Supercharged Engine

This is a 755bhp, rear-wheel-drive car that comes with ridiculous aero to force it to the floor and boost the speed at the apex.  That ‘Hi-Wing Package’ generates 950lb of downforce at high speed, which should pay off with ridiculous grip in high-speed corners.

Even with the wings grabbing at the air, this car will still hit 210mph and beyond. That is thanks to the supercharged 6.2-liter engine that is good for a tire-shredding 715lb/ft of torque.

The Corvette used to be a bad joke, but it has evolved into one of the best sportscars in the world. Even the Europeans are buying into the latest American supercars and muscle cars, which wouldn’t have happened even a decade ago.

American Supercars Are Better Than Ever

That’s how far the US sportscar scene has come in recent years and we’re sure the next gen Corvette ZR1 could be a real thorn in the side of the Ferrari 488 and Lamborghini Huracan.

It looks the business and it might also open up another opportunity. Now the new car has broken cover, the old model is a dead man walking. So you might be able to negotiate a massive discount on a new car or a lease deal on a Corvette right now.

Or you can start saving to put down a deposit on a car that could easily change hands way above the sticker price when it finally lands. There will be a waiting list and you could easily sell your build slot for a serious profit. Or you might just keep it and have one of the most badass sportscars on Planet Earth.
