The beauty and the curse of MMA is that one solid strike can bring it to an end. But he fighers normally feel each other out before letting fly with a knockout blow. That didn’t happen here…
In this amateur fight at Pyramid Fights 2 at White Country Fairground in Arkansas, Jordan Fowler launched a left head kick that knocked Dylan Goforth spark out in just four seconds. It was a State record for the fastest knockout, one of the fastest KOs in MMA history and it was also pretty fucking brutal.
It was Goforth’s first loss, but it was pretty unequivocal. When a fighter’s arms straighten out like that then it’s a clear sign they are done for the night.
Goforth will come back from this, but for a while he will be known as they guy that got sparked with the opening salvo. I’m guessing he’ll keep his guard up next time and adopt a slightly more conservative approach.

We’ll do our own video in the near future, but for now enjoy this brutal selection of MMA knockouts that might make you think twice about getting into any kind of confrontation for the rest of your life.
Brutal MMA knockouts are a part of the sport, a sport I tried before leaving the UK. Trust me, it hurts, but not nearly as much as you think. Once you get conditioned to taking these punches and kicks then it really isn’t as bad as you think.
Yes, you can get knocked out in a second in MMA. It’s part of the sport’s attraction, but as a general rule it doesn’t happen like that and when you’re sparring then you shouldn’t get his quite this hard.
And imagine how badass you’ll feel if you can actually dish this stuff out. Because you don’t have to be on the receiving end…
